In 2011 Vira Manko and I came across two large bowls of pysanky at the "fazenda" of a friend of ours, Otets Sebastian. He travels every year to Easter bazaars in western Ukraine and purchases huge quantities of folk pysanky, which he brings back to Lviv. These pysanky are then sold to Lviviany at Easter time.

The pysanky in this collection included examples that appear to be Hutsul, Pokuttian and Bukovynian, along with a few avtorski pysanky that he was given as gifts.
