The images on this page are from Binyashevky’s book “Ukrainian Pysanky” and the designs are from Eastern Podillia. This region corresponds in large part to Vinnytsia oblast.  It has starkly simple-looking pysanky with highly abstracted motifs.  The color scheme is quite basic, with black background being the preferred one.   The designs tend towards the geometric.
