gerdan (ґердан): a beaded Ukrainian collar/necklace (right)

grazhda (ґражда): Hutsul mountain home, a complex, usually of log construction, containing a main house with extensions on either side and front forming an interior courtyard. The side buildings can house sheep, other livestock, etc. It is a complex - safe for the family and the animals, with a gate at the front  for protection, to keep out bears and other wild animals.
