The snowflake eggs in the photo above are not all from 2013; I didn’t write enough of them for a big picture, so I added eggs from years past.  In 2013 I wrote eggs with a pink-purple-blue background, colors reminiscent of dusk.  The three goose eggs were given away as gifts, as were most of the large chicken egg snowflakes.

I created this effect by daubing magenta, royal blue and light blue dyes onto the eggs. The chicken eggs are pictured below; the goose eggs are in with other goose eggs.
