Goose Eggs
I’ve made several sorokoklyn-style goose eggs pysanky by writing a sorokoklyn pattern, and then dividing each “wedge” (triangle) in half, giving me 96 triangles to work with. I generally prefer to use two alternating motifs in the wedges. The variety of designs that can be created this way is seemingly endless.
I created my first such pysanka as a gift for my Aunt Dusia in 2009 (a hostess gift for Thanksgiving), and then played around and made several more.
