Pysanky from Ivan Franko’s homeland are fairly simple, but have a unique hyperlinear beauty. In this section I’ve included some background on the Boikos, ethnographic writings and illustrations of their cosmogony and their traditional pysanky, along with photos of some Boiko pysanky I have written.
